COVID-19 Outreach - Kintore’s International Campaign
Make This World A Better Place
Kintore College sees itself as a springboard for personal growth and professional success. During this COVID-19 pandemic, we have been challenged to grow in unique ways.
Inspired by the Founder of Opus Dei, St. Josemaria who wrote in The Way, “Don’t let your life be sterile. Be useful. Blaze a trail. Shine forth with the light of your faith and of your love … light up all the ways of the earth with the fire of Christ that you carry in your heart.”
Since March 31, 2020, Kintore College has been actively reaching out to give back to the community. We have sent over 1,500 cards to Make This World A Better Place. We have also started distributing food to help those in need.
Sending Words Of Encouragement
To Our Community
Working together with current Kintore residents, alumni, family and friends, we have been sending cards and videos of encouragement to people living in long-term care facilities in downtown Toronto, women living in a shelter in Montreal, cancer patients in Vancouver and Toronto, patrons of a meal preparation group in Toronto, and seniors in Ottawa, Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.
Accompanying The Sick, Elderly and Lonely
We have been calling people who live alone or are sick to listen to them and offer them companionship, words of encouragement and other support.
